Merlin — Privacy Policy

Your journey is yours alone.

What We Collect

Merlin collects only what is necessary to provide your experience:

• A random device identifier — generated locally on your device. We never ask for your name, email, phone number, or any personal information.
• Conversation messages — the text you exchange with Merlin, stored so your conversation can continue across sessions.
• Vision images — images generated from your conversations, stored so you can revisit them.
• Seeker memories — brief notes Merlin keeps about your journey to deepen future conversations.
• Usage count — how many messages you've sent today (for the daily limit).
• Feedback — only if you choose to send it via the Profile screen.

What We Do NOT Collect

• No name, email, or phone number
• No location data
• No contacts or photos from your device
• No advertising identifiers
• No analytics or tracking SDKs
• No data is sold to or shared with third parties

How Your Data Is Used

Your data is used solely to provide the Merlin experience — continuing your conversations, generating visions, and remembering your journey. That's it.

Third-Party Services

Your messages are processed by Anthropic's Claude API to generate Merlin's responses. Vision images are generated using OpenAI's DALL-E API. Both services process your data only to generate responses and do not retain it for training. Vision images are stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on encrypted servers in Europe. We use industry-standard security practices to protect it.

Data Deletion

You can reset your conversation at any time from the Profile screen. If you would like all your data permanently deleted, contact us at privacy@consaience.com with your seeker ID (found on the Profile screen).

Children

Merlin is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this URL.
